Icon Energy aspires to be a leader in the energy field, we strive to make a positive difference to the environment and society as a whole. We do this by providing multi-level Renewable Energy solutions, Energy Management and Building Automation solutions for households, commercial buildings, and industrial applications in Kuwait and the MENA region.
Kuwait is a country wealthy with Oil and Natural gas, but it's harsh climate and extreme environmental conditions, result in constant acceleration in HVAC consumption, consequently, burning through Kuwait's fossil fuels. Thus, the country is in dire need for Energy Management and Sustainable Solutions.
In line with our commitment to the region, we seek to support Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's National Development 2035 vision, which stipulates a target of 15% of the country's power to be sourced by renewable-energy.
Our global technical partners, networks and relationships empower us with the tools to remain current with the latest trends and technology, align ourselves with renowned international standards therefore, raising our bar to deliver the highest international standards.
The three main elements that we support under this division are:
Renewable Energy: Solar energy is a resource available everywhere. Icon provides you with safe and reliable photovoltaic (PV) module arrays to take advantage of the abundantly available resource. Our products and services include the best technology and equipment available, quality system integration, installation, and the commissioning of PV module arrays for commercial, residential, and industrial use.
Passive Measures: Passive building designs do not involve any type of mechanical or electrical systems but, rather uses environment-friendly certified materials and the basic design elements of a building to create the desired conditions inside a building. We have global partners to develop exterior insulation and finishing systems (EIFS) with the highest quality materials.
Active Measures: Active energy saving measures make use of the building's systems to create the desired conditions. Having an active approach is to implement building management systems, automated systems, controls, and regulation. Building automation systems are designed to minimize the usage of electricity from utilities, give more control to occupants over these utilities, keep occupants comfortable and streamline the daily operational jobs of engineers and building operators.
